Dear Parents,

Thank YOU for coming to view all your child's hard work last night and then staying to listen to me talk about the wonders of 4th grade.  I felt very supported by your smiles and encouraging nods as I talked.  I hope I have answered most of your questions... but if not, feel free to send me an email or drop by class.  I enjoy hearing from you!

Hello Parents,

The students are doing great and learning a lot! Ask them about their amygdalas, cloud types and how to round numbers to a specific place value!  Also, please look through their homework folders this weekend - they have 2 math Home Links to complete, and some math journal pages to complete if they didn't finish in class over the past 2 weeks.  The journal pages will have a blue sticky note on them.  When the child returns the math journal to school, I will remove the sticky note IF and WHEN the page is complete.

Also, when students are absent from school, please look for their make-up work in their mail cubby, just inside the classroom door, to the right.  Students are expected to complete the work they missed due to illness, doctor appointments or other acts of nature and life.  Many thanks!
